Malta to Repair Humanitarian Ship Targeted en Route to Gaza

Malta proposed to restore the vessel with humanitarian aid, which was directed to Gaza, but was attacked by drones, presumably Israeli. In case of the possibility of repairs, it will be carried out at sea; otherwise, the vessel will be delivered to the mainland of Malta for necessary repair work, the cost of which will be covered by Maltese owners.

The head of the Maltese government, Robert Abela, requested "Freedom Fleet," seeking to lift the Israeli blockade of Gaza, permissions for assessing the damage inflicted on the vessel "Konshens" for determining necessary repair work.

"To allow the vessel, whatever it might be, to enter Maltese waters, there should be an assessment of the situation, proposing repair work," Abela said.
